Responsibilities will include advising prospective and current students on academic requirements and course selection. Audits student records for curriculum, major, and graduation requirements. This position will be a liaison with the University Advisement Center, participate in mandatory advisement sessions, conduct INCEPT/NSO information sessions, and information sessions for prospective students. This position will interface with the Undergraduate Program Director regarding program structure, policies, and the 4+1 program. Advise and counsel current and prospective students on academic policies and curricular requirements. Assist current senior students in planning their course schedule. Maintains student files. Advisement of graduate students, as needed. Audits student records for curriculum, major, and graduation requirements. Acts as liaison to the Undergraduate Advisement Center and the Undergraduate Program Director. Conduct information sessions for prospective students, conduct advisement sessions at INCEPT for new students and participate in undergraduate events on campus. Provides reports on undergraduate student retention, progression, and graduation. Evaluate and determine transfer credits. Performs other duties as assigned.
