About The Position

The Division of Rheumatology in the Department of Internal Medicine at Mayo Clinic Arizona seeks a clinician with an interest and expertise in the care of patients with vasculitis and related disorders, as well as a smaller footprint in myositis management. This position offers outstanding opportunities in patient care, education, and research, supported by a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. The Division hosts the first Rheumatology Fellowship program in the Valley, launched in 2022, and maintains strong academic and research infrastructure. Current expertise within the Division includes Systemic Sclerosis, Vasculitis, Lupus, Autoimmune Interstitial Lung Disease, Inflammatory Arthritis, Spondyloarthropathies, and Musculoskeletal Ultrasound. The successful candidate will enhance this portfolio by advancing care for patients with diverse forms of vasculitis (e.g., ANCA-associated vasculitis, giant cell arteritis, Takayasu arteritis) and inflammatory myopathies. Over the next decade, Mayo Clinic is making significant investments in both the physical and technological future of health care, through doubling the size of the Mayo Clinic campus in Phoenix, inclusive of practice, education, and research activities.
