About The Position

Tutors will provide academic support to students across various grade levels of their preference and subject areas with the help of the classroom teachers. Tutors will work closely with students to reinforce classroom instruction, strengthen subject comprehension, and support the development of effective study habits. This role involves working in small groups or one-on-one to help students build confidence, improve academic performance, and stay engaged in their learning.

Requirements

• Passion for Learning: Dedicated to supporting academic and personal success, especially for underserved students.
• Strong Academics: Degree-seeking student or graduate with a minimum 3.0 GPA in Education or a relevant field.
• Committed and Flexible: Available to work 10-35 hours per week at an assigned school (or virtual program) and participate in monthly training.
• Collaborative Spirit: Ready to work alongside teachers, school leaders, and fellow tutors to maximize student success.
