Mercer University is searching for an Academic Support Specialist for the School of Medicine on the Atlanta, Georgia campus. Responsibilities : Under indirect supervision, this position provides administrative support assistance to the Program Director and all faculties involved in the Marriage and Family Therapy program. This position works in tandem with all department Program Specialists to input data into collection instruments and any task related to accreditation success. Reports directly to the Program Director for Marriage and Family Therapy. This position will require excellent organizational skills, self- motivation, and exceptional interpersonal skills working with students and faculty. Qualifications : Two years of college coursework and one year of administrative support experience, to include working with databases and customer service, are required. In lieu of education, equivalent directly related experience will be considered. Candidates must be proficient in use of Excel to import and export data. Additionally, candidate must use technology for scheduling appointments and inserting information into spreadsheets and other data collection programs for accreditation purposes.
