About The Position

The College and Graduate School of Arts & Sciences (A&S) is seeking an Accessibility Lead to champion digital accessibility strategy and change management across one of UVA's largest and most academically diverse schools. This role will shape how thousands of students, faculty, staff, and the broader communities they serve, experience accessible teaching, learning, and digital services. A&S has already invested in accessibility tooling, data infrastructure, and institutional partnerships; this role will grow this foundation into a mature, sustainable program with broad impact across the University. We are looking for someone who brings technical fluency in accessibility standards and assistive technologies, but whose passion is changing how people work. You'll partner with faculty and staff across departments, academic programs, research centers, and administrative units to create lasting change by making the accessible path an achievable path. As the program matures, the change management skills you bring will extend well beyond digital accessibility into other strategic initiatives across Arts and Sciences.
