About The Position

The Account Executive position is responsible for building and maintaining strong, healthy relationships with our independent agency sub-producer clients. As the primary contact for clients, the primary responsibilities are designed to provide a best-in-class client experience while increasing revenue and retention for the company. Account Executives will strive to be trusted, knowledgeable industry resources to clients. The role will also act as a liaison to all internal operations, sales, and leadership teams.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years customer, property or account management experience
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 30%
  • Overcome objections in the sales process; ability to think outside of the box
  • Oral and written presentation skills; ability to present at conferences and to clients virtually and in-person.
  • Develop client needs analysis and present outcomes
  • Strong analytical capabilities
  • Research competitive and market information
  • Ability to maintain relationships at all levels of the organization; in addition to externally with clients.
  • Intermediate level Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Focus on high levels of customer satisfaction with clients
  • Work in partnership with the Sales organization; will work daily with Sales Executives
  • Leverage existing clients for new/additional business, proven ability with upselling
  • Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • P&C Insurance license required (ability to obtain within 60 days of employment; long-term employment is contingent on receiving license)

Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with appointed Independent Agency clients
  • Lead efforts to grow revenue and increase sales (current & new products)
  • Increase participation and utilization by Independent Agencies
  • Create reports to analyze data and present to management
  • Coordinate client needs with the ePremium organization
  • Be proactive in identifying process improvement initiatives.
