About The Position

This is a career building inside sales role for someone early in their sales journey who wants real ownership, not just call quotas. As a Account Manager( B2B Sales) , you'll work from our East Windsor headquarters to identify and close our main product line of secure destruction services, together with cross-sell and expansion opportunities for our other service offerings. You'll combine research, outbound outreach, and consultative selling, using modern sales tools and a structured CRM process--to grow revenue within existing accounts and new prospects. This role is ideal for a self-starter who enjoys learning the full sales cycle and wants exposure to B2B selling in a professional services environment.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in inside sales, business development, account management, or a related role
  • Comfort with outbound but "warm" outreach (calls, emails, follow-ups)
  • Experience using a CRM (specific platforms are teachable)
  • Strong communication, organization, follow through and confidence
  • Coachability, resilience, and comfort hearing "no"

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to B2B services or recurring revenue businesses
  • Experience selling into operations, IT, or compliance teams
  • Familiarity with prospecting tools like Apollo, ZoomInfo, or similar.

Responsibilities

  • Generate New Revenue Opportunities
  • Follow-up activities to help facilitate deal closure and expansion opportunities
  • Identify expansion opportunities within existing shredding customers and targeted prospects
  • Conduct outbound (but warm) calls and emails each week to introduce ITAD, storage, and scanning solutions
  • Qualify customer needs and propose practical, compliant solutions
  • Run a Clean, Measurable Sales Process
  • Track all activity, conversations, and deal stages in Insightly CRM
  • Maintain accurate pipeline data for forecasting and reporting
  • Move opportunities forward with clear next steps and follow-ups
  • Collaborate & Deliver for Customers
  • Partner closely with Customer Service and Operations to ensure smooth handoffs
  • Participate in occasional local site visits or customer maintenance meetings
  • Deliver professional proposals and solution summaries
