About the position

AMBA is seeking a talented Account Manager to join our growing Client Engagement Team! We are looking for someone with strong teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills who thrives in an agile, team-oriented environment. Account Managers develop and foster long-term strategic relationships with a portfolio of clients, and are responsible for retaining, servicing, and expanding key accounts. Account managers direct collaboration across the firm to provide comprehensive product and service solutions that meet the client's needs. As an entry-level individual contributor, an Account Manager is ready to apply the knowledge acquired via an advanced education and/or prior experience and to start to develop professional skills with the help of a manager and more experienced team members.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains relationships with complex clients, prospects, client teams and producers to provide best in class service and drive growth.
  • Serves as a client contact for day-to-day needs and answers standard client questions to improve the client experience.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of changing market conditions and understands and complies with all compliance, professional and transparency standards to better serve clients.
  • Manages and records all activities in the Client Management system to ensure timely follow up by the client, carriers, client team and delivery of final policy.
  • Answers inbound customer calls and provides ongoing service and account maintenance for multiple programs and/or products.
  • Makes outbound retention and service calls for assigned programs.
  • Contributes to the growth and retention of a program.
  • Ensures that all regulatory, compliance and transparency requirements are met and complies with all internal policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Prior Insurance Industry experience preferred.
  • Resident and non-resident Property & Casualty license required. If not licensed, must be able to obtain within 45 days of employment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrates strategic thinking & ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple tasks.
  • Detail oriented to ensure accuracy.
  • Demonstrates problem solving skills.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to navigate through multiple systems without assistance.
