About The Position

As an Account Manager, you represent the focal point of a respected metrology brand with highly differentiated products. In this role you will leverage your established business acumen and strategic sales expertise to consult with major accounts and drive long‑term growth across a diverse portfolio of FARO Creaform solutions. You will be focused on the long-term account management of top-tier customers and strategically drive increased sales over short-term opportunities by cooperating with internal and external partners. Your covered business portfolio will contain all  FARO Creaform solutions including hardware systems, SW platforms, and automated solutions.

Requirements

  • Degree in mechanical engineering or relevant technical field.
  • 1-5 years of experience in sales in a manufacturing/technological environment.
  • Have a strong interest for high technology and towards learning about technological products.
  • Have experience in a technical field, sales and/or customer support.
  • Valid US Drivers license.
  • A frequent weightlifting of 90 lbs or more is required.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate Creaform technology to interested and / or potential customers;
  • Participation to trade shows, technical events, open-house, sales meetings and other sales events;
  • Ensure steady and organized follow-up on sales opportunities through emails, phone calls, etc. to ensure the expected level of sales and a sales cycle as compact as possible by using the CRM system;
  • Clearly identify and communicate all customer needs and specifications in order for the ISS to prepare the quote;
  • Act as point of contact and provide technical support and regular follow-ups to potential customers during the evaluation period;
  • Report progress of all ongoing sales activities on a weekly basis during team opportunity-review, provide sales forecast and participate to forecast review meetings;
  • Develop a large network of contacts and clients within the designated territory in teamwork with the Strategic Account Manager and the Sales Manager;
  • Professional management of existing customers over the entire product life cycle including the identification of further business opportunities
  • Protect the profit margins of Creaform by adding value; rather than discounting and by organizing efficient travel.
