About The Position

We are supporting an early-stage AI infrastructure company in hiring a quota-carrying Account Manager to work directly with AI startup founders, researchers, and ML engineering teams. This role is best suited for someone who is AI-aware, commercially driven, and comfortable building pipeline without relying on strong inbound demand or brand pull. You will own accounts end-to-end — from sourcing opportunities to closing deals and driving long-term expansion.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of experience in Account Management, Sales, or Business Development
  • Background in AI, cloud, or infrastructure-related products or services
  • Experience selling to technical customers (founders, engineers, researchers)

  • Exposure to AI startups, research labs, or developer-first products preferred

Responsibilities

  • Own a revenue quota across AI startup and research lab accounts
  • Build pipeline through outbound efforts and personal or ecosystem-driven networks
  • Convert trials and early experiments into paid, long-term customers
  • Engage directly with founders, Heads of ML, researchers, and early infrastructure engineers
  • Understand customer workloads (training vs. inference), growth plans, and constraints
  • Operate as a trusted long-term partner rather than a transactional seller
  • Discuss model training, inference, GPU scaling, and performance trade-offs with confidence
  • Position GPU infrastructure solutions against real AI scaling challenges
  • Partner closely with Solution Architects to support trials, PoCs, and onboarding
  • Drive expansion through increased usage, larger clusters, and longer-term commitments
  • Maintain close relationships as customers scale from experimentation to production
  • Provide market and customer feedback to internal teams
