About The Position

As an Account Manager at Rapido, your focus will be on managing and growing existing client relationships. You'll serve as the key point of contact for your accounts, acting as a trusted advisor to help clients scale, solve challenges, and drive business outcomes through their Rapido partnership.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in account management, customer success, carrier or customer sales, or a client-facing role.
  • 3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations, with a strong preference for 3PL or trucking industry experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a consultative approach to client management.
  • Comfortable leading client calls, handling objections, and offering proactive recommendations to drive client success.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) and business tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Must be self-motivated, responsive, and a proactive problem solver.

Responsibilities

  • Client Success & Retention: Own the client relationship post-sale, ensuring satisfaction, proactive issue resolution, and long-term retention.
  • Growth & Expansion: Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities within assigned accounts. Recommend new roles or services to help clients grow efficiently.
  • Strategic Partnership: Understand each client’s goals, pain points, and growth plans. Become a strategic resource for workforce planning and operational support.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with internal teams, including Recruiting, Operations, and Finance, to ensure service delivery meets or exceeds expectations.
  • Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs): Lead recurring QBRs to review performance, gather feedback, and align on future hiring needs or process improvements.
  • Account Planning & Forecasting: Maintain accurate forecasting and reporting of headcount, revenue, and growth opportunities for your book of business.
  • Contract & Renewal Management: Support the negotiation of contract renewals, rate adjustments, or scope expansions in partnership with leadership.
  • Support targeted growth initiatives by managing a limited number of new business opportunities as assigned, helping to expand Rapido’s client base when aligned with strategic priorities.
