The Impact You’ll Make in this Role 3M is seeking a Core Sales Representative for its Personal Safety Division (PSD) located in the Montérégie (Montreal South-Shore). The successful candidate will make an impact by driving personal protective equipment sales growth with key account customers, in an industrial and governmental market, within the territory. Work will encompass targeted End User accounts and Distributor Networks. You will also develop the market with new customers and where the construction and industrial market is growing. If you have the capacity to learn and are a seasoned sales representative, knowledge in the PSD space is an asset, but not required.

Requirements

  • High school – GED AND Twenty (20) years of sales experience Or Bachelor Degree and Five (5) years of sales experience in a private, public, government or military environment AND Current, valid Driver’s License

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (French and English)
  • Bachelor’s degree/College Certificate or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Degree in Health and Safety, Sales from an accredited institution
  • Ten (10) years of Sales experience in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Key account management – Strategic selling – negotiation skills – Customer relationship management

Responsibilities

  • Driving sales growth and organic growth with key customers, within territory with new and existing end-user customers
  • Conducting training presentations to customers and channel partners, educating industrial professionals, and promoting 3M solutions
  • Collaborating with Marketing and Technical teams to assist with market research, new product launches, and promotional projects
  • Personal development, product and regulatory knowledge through self-study and corporate training programs
