About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated, detail‑oriented Accountant to join our close‑knit team of five, working alongside our Controller, Accounts Payable Specialist, and CFO. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, hands‑on setting and values accuracy and efficiency in financial operations within a blue‑collar environment.
Requirements
- Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables and VLOOKUP.
- Strong experience with bank reconciliations and month-end procedures.
- Solid understanding of journal entries and general ledger maintenance.
- Experience implementing new accounting software
- Ability to work effectively in a small, collaborative team
- Proficiency in Sage accounting software.
- Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables and VLOOKUP.
- Strong experience with bank reconciliations and month-end procedures.
- Solid understanding of journal entries and general ledger maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Perform bank reconciliations.
- Manage month-end closing processes.
- Prepare and post journal entries.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Oversee software updates and improvements (Sage and Excel proficiency required)
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
