About The Position

RIDGEVIEW , a not-for-profit community mental health center based in Oak Ridge, TN, has an immediate opening for a full-time Accounting Assistant. The schedule is weekdays, 8:30am-5:00pm. Requirements

• Minimum high school graduate or equivalent, with 3+ years of accounting-related experience required.
• Must be proficient in Excel, Word, and 10-key calculator.
• Solid organizational skills a must.
• Ridgeview conducts Background Checks, Motor Vehicle Records, License/Degree Verification, and Drug Screens at hire.
• Employment is contingent upon clean drug screen, background check and safe driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Accounts Payable a plus.

Responsibilities

• supports daily financial and administrative operations by processing payments and receipts
• assisting with accounts payable
• providing backup support for accounting functions
• Reviews payroll timesheets
• assists with account reconciliations
• contributes to reporting and compliance tasks, including preparing required reports and payroll schedules
• provides general administrative support such as assisting with audits, tracking mileage and performing other duties as assigned to support department operations
