We’re looking for an Accounting Clerk to help support our day-to-day financial operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, accuracy, and working with financial data in a fast-moving company. This role is a key part of keeping ENCON’s financial records accurate as the company continues to grow. You’ll work closely with the accounting team to maintain organized financial data, support reporting processes, and help ensure our books stay clean and audit-ready. Requirements

Accounting or Bookkeeping Experience – Prior experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, accounting support, or financial administration preferred.
Financial Systems Experience – Comfortable working with accounting software, ERP systems, or financial transaction platforms.
Transaction Processing Skills – Experience reviewing and categorizing bank transactions, vendor invoices, or expense reports.
Detail-Oriented – Strong attention to detail when working with financial records and documentation.
Organizational Skills – Ability to maintain structured financial records and manage multiple tasks.
Accounting Procedures Knowledge – Comfortable following basic accounting procedures, documentation requirements, and financial controls.
Communication Skills – Able to communicate clearly when resolving invoice issues or missing documentation.

Responsibilities

Process Vendor Invoices – Enter vendor invoices accurately into the accounting system and ensure proper documentation.
Maintain Clean Vendor Records – Verify invoices are recorded under the correct vendor, account, and transaction date.
Organize Financial Documentation – Maintain organized digital records for invoices, receipts, and vendor transactions.
Prevent Backlogs – Monitor accounts payable activity and ensure invoices are processed on time.
Categorize Financial Transactions – Review and categorize bank feed transactions to the correct chart of accounts.
Assist with Bank Reconciliations – Support preparation of monthly bank reconciliations and transaction review.
Identify Discrepancies – Flag duplicate, missing, or unusual transactions for accounting review.
Maintain Accurate Coding – Ensure transactions are properly coded for accurate financial reporting.
Process Credit Card Transactions – Review and record company credit card expenses.
Match Expense Documentation – Match receipts and documentation to employee expense reports.
Review for Accuracy – Identify missing receipts or incorrect expense classifications.
Prepare for Reconciliation – Assist with expense tracking and preparation for monthly close.
Ensuring vendor invoices are entered prior to closing periods
Preparing supporting documentation for account reconciliations
Identifying missing transactions or incomplete records
Assisting with financial data cleanup and transaction categorization
