About The Position

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented students to join our Summer 2026 Accounting Internship Program in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. This two-month program provides hands-on experience working alongside our accounting and finance team supporting the financial operations of active construction projects.
Interns will gain exposure to construction accounting processes including job cost tracking, accounts payable, financial reporting, and project-based financial management within the heavy civil and urban infrastructure construction environment.

This internship is designed to provide practical experience and insight into the responsibilities of an accounting professional while supporting the financial operations of a growing construction organization.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Must be a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student by Summer 2026
• Strong interest in construction accounting or project-based financial management
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist the accounting team with accounts payable processing and invoice verification
• Support job cost tracking and help ensure expenses are properly allocated to projects
• Assist with data entry and maintenance of financial records in the accounting system
• Help review subcontractor invoices, lien waivers, and supporting documentation
• Support month-end closing activities and financial reporting preparation
• Assist with organizing and maintaining financial documentation and records
