About The Position

The Accounting Intern will be provided an opportunity to use knowledge obtained in the classroom to gain business experience in a professional setting with a professional team. The intern will be assigned tasks that will further their professional growth, including tasks related to accounts payable, account reconciliations, strengthening financial controls, and/or improving processes.

Requirements

• College student with Junior or Senior status pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• College student with Junior or Senior status pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Finance
• Strong written communication skills
• Excellent time management and organization skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office software (emphasis on Excel)
• Ability to work well in a group and independently

Responsibilities

• Perform accounts payable duties
• Prepare and input journal entries
• Reconcile general ledger and internal checking accounts
• Perform data analysis and projects as assigned
• Complete regulatory and monthly reports
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned
