About The Position

Ideal candidate would be willing to work a hybrid schedule and come to the Dublin, Ohio office 1-2 days per week. Also open to remote candidates in the Midwest. The Corporate Consolidations accounting manager is responsible for overseeing the quarterly financial statement reporting process, including the overall consolidation process within Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), the post-close journal entry process, and quarterly financial statement reporting deliverables to the Audit Committee and SEC reporting. In addition, this role is responsible for various Corporate policies and related reporting, the Blackline COE, and intercompany transactions and reporting. This job coordinates with various functions throughout the organization. What General Accounting contributes to Cardinal Health Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets. Accounting establishes and maintains accounting policies and controls, completes technical research, safeguards the organization's assets and ensures accuracy of accounting and financial records in accordance with accounting standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • 6+ years of accounting experience in related field, preferred
  • Prior manager experience preferred

  • Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee quarterly financial statement reporting with deliverables to the Audit Committee and SEC reporting
  • Manage a team that consolidates Corporate financials utilizing Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)
  • Lead the post-close journal entry process, working cross-functionally with the Financial Systems (FOS) team to ensure timely execution and accurate financial results
  • Partner with off-shore accounting team and ensure quality results and effective working relationships
  • Manage the Blackline COE and Blackline vendor relationship, and oversee the Blackline account reconciliation governance processes for the company
  • Own the EPIC Insurance accounting and financial statement filings
  • Partner with Legal, Treasury, Tax, Accounting, and Finance on key Corporate Initiatives
  • Oversee Corporate policies related to intercompany transactions, foreign currency, legal entity reporting, and journal entry controls
  • Execute intercompany cross charges and prepare intercompany out-of-balance reporting
  • Develops and supports processes to ensure intercompany activity is appropriately recorded
  • Manage an accounting team and supervises professional employees to ensure accounting is performed according to generally accepted accounting principles and Cardinal Health guidelines and policies
  • Responsible for complete, accurate, and timely financial reporting
  • Maintain processes and controls to execute the monthly financial close and periodic reconciliation of accounts
  • Supports technology projects to determine system capabilities, design requirements, testing, and implementation
