About The Position

Join our Corporate Accounting team for a dynamic and hands-on work study experience at Prologis. In this part-time, 12-week role, you’ll play an integral role in our cash accounting processes while gaining exposure to a global real estate company. You’ll collaborate across departments, sharpen your technical accounting skills, and contribute to meaningful projects in a supportive and fast-paced environment. This opportunity is ideal for students based in the Denver area. We offer flexible scheduling to support your academic commitments—typically around 20 hours per week during the semester. The 12-week program may be extended based on business needs and mutual interest.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, with at least two (preferably three) years of undergraduate coursework completed.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills.
• A proactive mindset and strong sense of responsibility in delivering accurate, timely work.
• Proficiency in Excel and an eagerness to learn new systems and tools.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to collaborate across teams and locations.
• Capacity to learn and apply procedures consistently with minimal supervision and without daily instruction.
• Enjoys solving problems and brings a mindset of innovation to improving processes.
• Thinks critically and asks thoughtful questions that demonstrate understanding and drive deeper learning.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and process financial transactions accurately and promptly to support clean cash account reconciliations.
• Contribute to a fast and accurate month-end close, typically completed within three days.
• Use data analysis tools and AI-driven technologies to streamline and improve accounting workflows.
• Work within key financial systems such as PeopleSoft, Sigma, Yardi, and Smartsheet.
• Support onboarding, training, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Take on other projects and duties as assigned.
