About The Position

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join FoundationCCC in its mission of benefiting, supporting, and enhancing the California Community Colleges—the largest and most diverse system of higher education in the nation. The Accounts Payable Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of all accounts payable processes. This includes managing relationships with internal and external partners, processing expense reports and supplier invoices accurately and efficiently, maintaining 1099 records in compliance with legal requirements, and overseeing records management to ensure that all financial documentation is organized and easily accessible. The AP Coordinator’s responsibilities are essential for maintaining the integrity of financial transactions and ensuring that all operations adhere to company policies and regulatory standards. Requirements

  • A minimum of two (2) + years of experience in accounts payable is required.
  • High proficiency with Enterprise Accounting Software, Enterprise Resource Planning Software, Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, and database-related software applications.
  • A strategic and creative thinker who work within and across teams to swiftly respond to needs identified across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately and efficiently process invoices
  • Process expense reports, and reconcile supplier statements
  • Properly maintain records, including records necessary for 1099 compliance
  • Maintain GAAP Compliance
