Accounts Payable Specialist
About The Position
At City Wide Facility Solutions, we keep businesses running smoothly behind the scenes and our accounting team plays a critical role in making that happen. We’re looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with details, and takes pride in keeping things accurate and organized. In this role, you’ll manage vendor payments, maintain financial records, and support both accounts payable and receivable functions. You’ll work closely with internal teams and independent contractors to ensure everything runs efficiently and on time.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or a related field
- Ability to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
Responsibilities
- Ensure vendors are paid accurately and on time to prevent service disruptions
- Manage vendor payables, including recording expenses and maintaining accurate financial records
- Support accounts receivable and assist with annual financial and workers’ compensation audits
- Maintain vendor files, ensure contractor compliance, and reconcile independent contractor invoices
- Track and manage company equipment and assets
- Assist with additional accounting and administrative duties as needed
