Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in accounting or a relevant field
  • At least 2+ years of experience in finance and/or accounting.
  • Strong foundation in spreadsheets (Pivot tables, filters, formulas) Excel and Google Sheets
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Ability to communicate clearly with senior management
  • Ability to function as a team player
  • Enthusiasm to join a team that’s growing quickly and making a difference in the industry

Responsibilities

  • Enter and balance accounts payable transactions
  • Monitor credit card charges and coding for expenses
  • Assist with various accounting team projects
  • Support Finance team with recurring monthly spreadsheets using Excel, Google Sheets, Pivot tables and Vlookups
  • Assist Financial administrators with help as needed
  • Process accounts payable transactions
  • Post all invoices into the accounting system
  • Handle and resolve disputed invoices
  • Request credits from vendors and reconcile company credit card accounts
  • Prepare vendor payments and create client invoices
