About The Position

We're looking for an Accounts Receivable (AR) Team Lead who will guide our AR and Collections teams, strengthen reimbursement performance, and optimize cash flow across both our Clinic and Surgery Center. What You'll Do As our AR Team Lead, you will: Provide day‑to‑day leadership and subject‑matter expertise for AR operations Oversee insurance follow‑up, denial resolution, underpayment recovery, and patient account management Identify reimbursement trends and recommend process improvements Mentor and develop team members through coaching, onboarding, and training Support reporting, month‑end close, and revenue optimization initiatives Collaborate with revenue cycle, billing, and coding teams to enhance efficiency Serve as a key operational support person when the AR Manager is unavailable Travel to Bone & Joint locations as needed to support onsite operations What You Bring High school diploma required; associate degree in healthcare, finance, or related field preferred 2+ years in medical billing, insurance follow-up, or revenue cycle Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Experience leading or mentoring a team is a plus Knowledge of payer policies, reimbursement rules, and denial management Proficiency with Excel, reporting tools, and PM/EHR systems Valid WI driver's license Why Join Bone & Joint? Requirements

  • High school diploma required; associate degree in healthcare, finance, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years in medical billing, insurance follow-up, or revenue cycle
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of payer policies, reimbursement rules, and denial management
  • Proficiency with Excel, reporting tools, and PM/EHR systems
  • Valid WI driver's license

Nice To Haves

  • Experience leading or mentoring a team is a plus
