About The Position

Reporting to the Director of Continuing Professional Education, the Accreditation Manager provides programmatic and operational leadership to align and strengthen accreditation processes across Nursing (ANCC) and Pharmacy (ACPE). The role also supports Dana-Farber’s transition to—and ongoing maintenance of—Joint Accreditation (JA), expanding accreditation to include physicians, physician associates, social workers, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals. Working independently and in collaboration with the Director, Education Office, and relevant committees, the Accreditation Manager ensures all accredited programs meet national standards and advances DFCI’s mission to foster interprofessional excellence in cancer education. The Accreditation Manager partners with Nursing, Pharmacy, and Advanced Practice (PA/APP) stakeholders to coordinate and continuously improve the planning, implementation, and evaluation of accredited educational activities—including live, virtual, and online/enduring programs. Serving as a liaison to internal committees and accrediting bodies, the manager helps develop a unified accreditation framework that positions DFCI to achieve and sustain the highest level of Joint Accreditation readiness and performance while fostering collaboration, consistency, and professional growth across the education portfolio. Located in Boston and the surrounding communities, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is a leader in life changing breakthroughs in cancer research and patient care. We are united in our mission of conquering cancer, HIV/AIDS, and related diseases. We strive to create an inclusive, diverse, and equitable environment where we provide compassionate and comprehensive care to patients of all backgrounds, and design programs to promote public health particularly among high-risk and underserved populations. We conduct groundbreaking research that advances treatment, we educate tomorrow's physician/researchers, and we work with amazing partners, including other Harvard Medical School-affiliated hospitals.
