About The Position

Supplies are vital to the daily operation of our facilities. You can make a difference as an Acquisition Representative. You will process purchase orders and requests for equipment and supplies and provide internal and external customer support for all purchasing inquiries. You will also create, place, and expedite (as required) approved requisitions of stock, non-stock and dietary (non-food) items, repairs, capital purchases, service contracts and other services. Additional responsibilities will include: collaborating with the designated Supply Chain Contract Manager for all capital requests for equipment, requests for supplies which are not approved within the MMIS vendor/item master, and the addition of new vendors to the system Develop and Grow your Career! Requirements

  • Minimum of two years clerical and data entry experience required.
  • Minimum of two years customer relations experience in a healthcare environment required.
  • Microsoft Office software proficient (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, verbal and written.
  • High School Diploma required.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of clinical products, equipment and support services is preferred.
  • Associates Degree preferred.
