About The Position

Looking to break into the world of real estate development while making a real difference? SoLa Impact is searching for a driven and detail-oriented Development Intern to join our team this summer! Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Real Estate, Urban Planning, Business, Architecture, or related degree program
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (bonus points for Excel and project management tools!)
  • Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail
  • A team player with a proactive approach and a great attitude
  • Passion for real estate development, urban planning, and affordable housing
  • Interest in the entire development lifecycle from acquisition to construction

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Development team in managing new and ongoing real estate projects
  • Support project planning, research, and data analysis to drive development decisions
  • Help track budgets, timelines, and critical project milestones
  • Conduct market research on affordable housing trends, zoning laws, and investment opportunities
  • Participate in site visits and construction progress check-ins
  • Communicate with architects, contractors, and city officials to facilitate project development
  • Assist in preparing presentations and reports for stakeholders and investors
  • Collaborate with internal teams to keep development projects on track and moving forward
