Opportunity Overview: We are seeking a motivated and analytical Acquisitions Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in real estate investment and portfolio growth strategies. This internship offers direct exposure to the acquisition lifecycle—from deal sourcing and underwriting to due diligence and closing. The intern will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to better understand how strategic investment decisions are made and executed. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a foundation in real estate finance, investment analysis, and market research within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3.25 GPA requirement
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business, or related field
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Proficiency in Excel (financial modeling experience preferred)
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
  • Must be able to attend company paid, multi-day, travel to Tampa Corporate Office.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with financial underwriting and cash flow modeling for potential acquisitions
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support investment decisions
  • Review property financials, rent rolls, and operating statements
  • Support due diligence efforts, including document organization and analysis
  • Prepare investment summary materials and presentations for internal review
  • Track pipeline activity and maintain acquisition reporting tools
  • Participate in internal deal discussions and strategy meetings
