CLOVEHITCH is seeking an Action Officer (AO) to support the successful execution of daily business operations by directing and overseeing the receipt, tasking, tracking and closure of all internal and external tasks. AOs provide expertise regarding organizational functions and processes as well as support the organization in accordance with established policies, regulations, and procedures. AOs manage the action tracking system and work closely with Front Office groups, subordinate Offices, and program offices. AOs establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers and other stakeholders of the offices both internally and externally. This position is contingent upon contract award. Supervisory Responsibilities: None Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Author, consolidate, coordinate and edit executive-level documentation to ensure consistency with organizational strategic objectives; apply an in-depth knowledge and understanding of DoD/IC issues, policies, programs and procedures affecting the NRO Make recommendations and prepare briefings, point papers and other materials based on analysis of complex policy issues and documents. Ensure critical information is disseminated to internal and external agencies including the Office of Secretary of Defense, Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) and mission partner equivalent offices Manage NRO Tracking Information and Enterprise Response (TIER) actions for supported office to include: Performing initial administrative and technical assessment of all TIER actions to assign and coordinate the action item response at the highest organizational level practicable Collecting, collating and preparing polished, timely, and accurate Directorate responses Briefing and preparing leadership, and providing technical support during action item reviews Reporting status updates on new, pending, and late actions Manage and execute the action tracking process; develop standard operating procedures and serve as facilitator for user requirements. Monitor progress on actions, generate metrics to demonstrate accountability for meeting deadlines and quality expectations; prepare periodic reports on action status and keep leadership aware of late, pending and new actions.
