About The Position

The Active Directory Systems Administrator will support the U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) on the GEF ITS contract. This role involves the design, development, engineering, integration, and technical and operational support for the Nonsecure Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNET), SECRET Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET), and coalition network portions of the Department of Defense Information Network (DODIN). The candidate will be responsible for applying architecture to the Army Enterprise Global Fabric (GEFS3) program at various life cycle stages. The position requires expertise in Windows Server, Systems Center, and Active Directory technologies, specifically Windows Server 2012/2016, and adherence to industry best practices for implementing, deploying, and maintaining Active Directory solutions in a secure network environment.

Requirements

• 3+ years of related experience
• US Citizenship required
• Fully cognizant of Windows Server, Systems Center, and Active Directory technologies
• Experience with Windows Server 2012-2022 technologies
• Current Information Assurance (IA) certification (IAT Level II or equivalent) required at performance start date
• Computing Environment certification (e.g., Microsoft or related) obtained within 6 months of hire

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science degree preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide 24x7x365 operational support of Active Directory environment
• Build and maintain identity management solutions
• Support Active Directory Federation Services solutions for applications
• Build and maintain Active Directory infrastructure
• Ensure security and compliance of the Active Directory environment
• Troubleshoot Microsoft physical and VMware virtual environments
• Develop and troubleshoot Power CLI and PowerShell scripts
• Interface with database administrators and other IT professionals to coordinate installation and maintenance of client server applications
