Lakeside Post Acute is Hiring a Part-Time Activities Assistant! Schedule: Part-Time Thursday-Saturday At Lakeside Post Acute, patient care isn't just a priority, it's our passion. What to expect: Assist with resident activities under the direction of the Activities Director. Drive the facility van/bus as required. Driver requirements: Must have training and be able to return demonstrate safe clinical based transfer techniques for: Ingress Egress of Mobile Patients with Van Transfer of patients into and out of Wheelchair Properly securing WC bound residents into bays in Vans Must be able to lift transfer and mobilize patient weights of up to 70 pounds by self in confined areas inside Van. Must be able to make complex decisions involving highly dependent patient base. Requirements

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or a GED
  • Driving Requirements: Minimum - 25 years old
  • Must have a valid DL
  • Must be familiar with GPS and local driving area
  • No Traffic Crimes in the last 7 years (DUI, DWS, Reckless Driving).
  • no Traffic Felonies (Multiple DUI, or DWS, Leaving Scene with Injuries, Assault with Vehicle)
  • Not more than 2 moving violations in 3 years
  • Not more than one accident in 3 years
  • Pass a drug screen and background check

Nice To Haves

  • Activities experience a plus!
  • Experience in a post-acute or skilled nursing facility preferred
