About The Position
Come join the team at WeCare Centers at South Hills Care Center! WeCare Centers at South Hills Care Center is actively seeking a motivated Activity Aide for our community in Canonsburg, PA. Our Activity Aides provide the residents exciting, stimulating, and resident centered recreation programs.
Requirements
- Minimum of High school diploma or equivalent.
- Creative background.
- Communicates professionally with all residents, family members, staff, and visitors.
- Ability to follow step by step procedures and programs.
Nice To Haves
- Previous long-term care or experience working with the elderly or differently abled is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, preparing, and executing of activities.
- Participate and lead group activities.
- Participate and lead 1:1 activity.
- Assure a safe and home like environment for our residents.
- Attends and participates in continuing education programs.
- Assist in the set – up and clean-up of activity space.
