About The Position

Kingston at Dupont is hiring an Activity Assistant to support and lead programs for our Memory Care Assisted Living community. From seasonal crafts and games to music, fitness, and one-on-one visits, youll play a vital role in enriching the lives of residents and supporting their overall well-being.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Energetic, creative, and enthusiastic personality
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient, and team-focused approach
• Ability to adapt activities for residents with different abilities and interests

Nice To Haves

• Experience in activities, recreation, or senior care preferred, but training will be provided

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and leading daily resident activities and special events
• Encourage residents to participate in recreational, social, and educational programs
• Provide one-on-one engagement for residents needing individualized support
• Organize seasonal programs, holiday events, and themed activities that bring the community together
• Maintain activity spaces, supplies, and accurate attendance records
• Collaborate with the Activities Director and care team to ensure programs meet residents needs
