Your Role
RISE Enrichment Specialists will plan and implement educational instruction to rising 1st– 6th graders (grouped by grade).
Specialist will be able to integrate Literacy into STEM-based projects and lessons and are expected to develop creative, fun, and innovated activities for program participants based on the weekly themes.
Plan an enrichment program that includes learning objectives.
On a regular and consistent basis, meets and instructs assigned groups in the locations and at the times designated.
Create a classroom environment that provides for student involvement in the learning process and enables each student to achieve learning objectives.
Prepare for activities and provide written evidence of preparation to immediate supervisor.
Take all necessary and safety precautions to protect students, equipment, materials and facilities.
Perform other job duties requiring skills, knowledge and physical requirements as demanded by those duties described or less. Individual assignments will be determined by the supervisor based on the current workloads and department needs.
