Learn more about Cedar Creek Hospital online at: Cedar Creek Hospital Description The Activity Therapist Intern will follow a member of our holistic treatment team as they are responsible for the provision of Recreational Therapy services, including assessment, treatment planning, therapeutic activity interventions and discharge leisure planning. This team utilizes individual and/or group activity interventions to bring about positive changes in the client's behavior, be-it cognitive, social, emotional or physical. They educates the patient in healthy coping skills, and available leisure resources to continue the client in post discharge leisure planning and involvement. Hours Hours for this role will be determined by the semester and type of program you are in.
