About The Position

As an Acute Care Tech in the Bethesda North Float Pool, you will provide
hands‑on support by assisting with basic activities of daily living and
performing designated treatments and procedures under the direct supervision of
a nurse. You will also help maintain smooth unit operations by completing
non‑direct patient care tasks as needed, including stocking, organizing
supplies, and supporting essential clerical duties.

Requirements

• 2 years High School Education
• Age 17 with work permit
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Reading and math ability appropriate to the position

Responsibilities

• Performs and documents basic patient care tasks under the direct supervision of an RN.
• Maintains a safe environment.
• Communicates effectively with others.
• Performs supply, equipment, and environmental-related activities as required, and described in principal accountabilities.
• Acknowledges need for self-growth and accountability.
