Primary Purpose: Provides effective counseling services to Outpatient clients in accordance with OASAS and Agency rules and regulations. Responsibilities: 1. Provides clinical counseling services to clients in recovery utilizing treatment knowledge, understanding of addiction, and application of addiction counselor knowledge to practical treatment of clients. 2. Promotes the ACCA's services and obtains referrals. 3. Conducts screenings, assessments. Motivates clients to do their best. 4. Writes effective treatment plans. 5. Provides individual and group counseling as scheduled. Maintains a caseload of up to 35 clients. 6. Maintains accurate and timely documentation in case records according to agency policy and regulatory requirements.
