At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We’re working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight! This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. As part of a small, hardworking, and accomplished team of specialists, you will be responsible for translating engineering intent, drawings, and configurations into additively manufactured metallic flight hardware. This involves educating engineers/designers on design for additive manufacturing, creation of the print model, owning the manufacturing process, tracking work orders, addressing manufacturing issues, and continuing to work improvements. You will work closely with operators, quality technicians and engineering counterparts to support the processing of complex rocket engine and rocket components (i.e. thrust chambers, injectors, turbo pumps, etc). As an integral member of the team, you will use data to drive process improvements, relay design improvements to engineering, and in general serve as a direct feedback loop between design and fabrication.
