About The Position

Shift: PRN – Schedule based on college needs, course offerings, and instructor availability. The Adjunct Faculty member provides educational leadership and fosters a supportive, inclusive, and high-quality learning environment for a diverse student population. In collaboration with College leadership, the faculty member plans, organizes, implements, and evaluates didactic, laboratory, and clinical learning experiences as assigned, consistent with the vision, mission, values, and learning domains of Trinity College of Nursing. In alignment with the College’s mission, faculty are encouraged to incorporate innovative, evidence-based teaching and learning strategies that promote critical thinking, clinical judgment, and professional role development. Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Radiography
  • Experience: 2 Years Clincal Practice
  • Licenses/Certifications: Radiologic Technologist License in Both Iowa and Illinors or Eligible.
  • CPR apon hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Education: Masters in Higher Education or Equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous Teaching Experience

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates ability to meet business needs of department with regular, reliable attendance
  • Employee maintains current licenses and/or certifications required for the position.
  • Practices and reflects knowledge of HIPAA, TJC, DNV, OSHA, FERPA, TITLE IX, and other federal/state regulatory agencies guiding higher education and healthcare.
  • Completes all annual education and competency requirements within the calendar year.
  • Is knowledgeable of College, hospital, and department compliance requirements commensurate with position (Title IV, Title IX, Campus Violence).
  • Brings any questions or concerns regarding compliance to the immediate attention of supervisor.
  • Takes appropriate action on concerns reported by department staff related to compliance.
