About The Position

Essential Functions Instruct students in assigned subjects (e.g., Microsoft Applications I & II) using varied methods. Effectively apply engaged learning to teach a class using integrated technology. Evaluate student work and maintain attendance, achievement, and progress records. Develop and revise course curriculum, materials, and evaluation methods. Collaborate as a Business Program Team member, supporting college services. Stay current in subject areas through ongoing professional development. This is an on-site position. Instructor will work a regular class schedule with pre-determined days, hours, and location(s). Promote a Culture of Belonging Support and promote an environment of belonging where all students, faculty members, and college employees feel welcomed, valued, and empowered to contribute. Foster a community where each individual and their varied perspectives enrich the educational experience and create a safe and respectful environment. Support the College’s policies and programming related to access, fair employment, and equal opportunities for all.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Business Education, Information Technology, Instructional Technology, or Adult Education.
  • Two (2) years’ experience in the Business World or teaching Computer Applications in the educational setting.
  • Microsoft Office Specialist ( MOS ) certification required within one year of employment.
