About The Position

FVCC seeks applicants to teach one on-campus, face-to-face course in Elementary Spanish I starting Fall 2026. Teaching assignment is during the weekday and involves delivering content face-to-face as well as online. To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the minimum qualifications set forth by The Montana Board of Regents of Higher Education Policy 730: Master’s degree in Spanish or a closely related discipline; OR Master’s degree in a closely related academic discipline with at least nine graduate semester credits Spanish. NOTE: Applicants with transcripts that do not indicate a master’s degree and minimum of nine graduate-level credits in the specific area to be taught will not be considered.

Requirements

  • The Montana Board of Regents of Higher Education Policy 730 requires the following minimum qualifications for faculty in transfer programs/disciplines: Master’s degree in the field in which the course(s) resides; OR Master’s degree in a closely related academic discipline with at least nine graduate semester credits in the academic discipline.

  • Actively participates in the development of a climate that promotes and supports innovation and efforts to continuously improve services to students, faculty, and the College.
  • Creates and maintains a collaborative and collegial environment with colleagues and maintains effective working relationships.
