About The Position

The Physics Department at Seattle University is inviting applications for a part-time adjunct faculty member for spring quarter 2026, to teach one section of calculus-based introductory mechanics, PHYS 1210. The course meets in-person on MWF from 10:55 am - 12:20 pm from March 30 through June 10, with final grades due by June 17. The instructor must also be available on campus for office hours. Requirements

  • Master's degree in physics or a related discipline; or bachelor's degree plus three years graduate study in physics
  • Demonstrated interest or experience teaching at the college level
