About The Position

As Wattch’s office manager, you will help keep the Wattch office running smoothly and the Wattch team happy and successful. You will also be integral to preserving and improving Wattch’s whimsical culture. Finally, you may also help out with additional scheduling and administrative work to help free up resources among the small and scrappy Wattch team. To be successful in this role, you should be organized, personable, and interested in tackling a wide range of projects. It also doesn’t hurt to have an interest in clean energy! This flexible, part-time role is approximately 20 hours per week, located primarily at the Wattch office in Inman Park, Atlanta, GA, with some remote work. We will work together to figure out your typical schedule.

Requirements

  • Have worked as an office manager or in administrative, support, or customer service roles
  • Are familiar with popular business software tools such as Google Apps, Slack, Notion, Zoom, etc.
  • Have your own, reliable transportation that you can use for running errands
  • Are detail-oriented and can manage multiple priorities at once
  • Are a good communicator
  • Are considered thrifty, handy and creative
  • Bring a positive attitude to any challenge

Responsibilities

  • Shepherding our move to a new office location
  • Implementing and maintaining physical organizational systems
  • Ordering and keeping tabs on groceries and office supplies
  • Planning (and attending) company and board social events
  • Arranging gifts for Wattchiversaries and birthdays
  • Arranging travel for site visits and trade shows
  • Dropping off and picking up packages and mail
  • Running other errands around town, as needed
  • Managing executive schedules
  • Maintaining hardware inventory records
  • Procuring equipment for new team members
  • Managing lightweight office improvements such as hanging artwork and assembling furniture
  • Helping out with other admin tasks such as data entry, hardware ordering, etc.
