About The Position

Position Purpose The purpose of this role is to provide confidential administrative and logistical support to the President and Vice Presidents of the Company and to ensure efficient and effective office management, including the Company's document management system and information network. key responsibilites: Provide administrative support to the Board of members and Sub-Committees, including coordination of meetings, materials, and minutes. Manage all administrative aspects of the corporate office in Anchorage and oversight of any satellite offices. Maintain contact and distribution lists. Administer corporate-level Travel or Expense Report systems. Schedule appointments and assist with travel plans for the President and Vice Presidents. Adhere to internal control systems and authorization levels approved by the Board. Maintain the Company's document management system. Assist with preparation of letters, memos, and presentations. Provide support for corporate IT functions, as necessary. Qualifications, Skills, and Experience: Education and Experience Degree in Office Administration or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certified Administrative Professional designation is an asset. A minimum of 10 years' work experience in an administrative role; experience supporting C-level executives preferred. 7 of those years must demonstrate progressively responsible experience. Skills and Abilities Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Skill in presenting information clearly and in a tactful manner Skill in problem solving and establishing collaborative relationships Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and document management Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently as well as take direction from supervisor Ability to be flexible with time and methods and adaptable to change Ability to multi-task and prioritize duties and tasks Ability to work in a confidential manner Ability to exercise good judgement Working Conditions: In-office position based in Anchorage, Alaska. Typical business hours with rare evening or weekend work. Requires prolonged desk/computer work. Must be able to move up to 15 pounds. Requirements
