Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Three to five years of related experience.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Products (O365).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and present professional decorum.
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance is highly desired; however, candidates eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance will be considered.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from various work locations.
  • Must maintain the capability to communicate with their supervisor or manager when not in the office.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates with the Chesapeake office to provide timely Port Engineer CDRL data input, updates, and validation to include but not limited to: Personnel Status Report
  • PE Contact and Ship Assignment Listing
  • Commanding Officer PE Evaluation Metrics Report
  • Mandatory Command Training Completion Reports.
  • PE Directory
  • Prepares and executes Purchase Requests in accordance with purchasing policy.
  • Accountable for accurate and timely submission of bills to the Accounts Payable department.
  • Administers the Asset Management and Tracking System.
  • Coordinates Port Engineer events.
  • Manages material and equipment shipping.
  • Receives visitors and controls office access.
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations and briefings.
  • Fields phone calls and inquiries.
  • Provides on-site surge support to CNSP staff and special customer initiatives.
  • Assists and coordinates events.
  • Participates in weekly CDRL meeting.
  • Coordinates Visa and Status of Forces Agreement Letters of Authorization for Italy.
  • Prepare administrative documents.
  • Responsible for the submission of forms for access (SAAR, MFOM, SERMC, etc).
  • Ensures the leave tracker is kept up to date.
  • Other duties as assigned by the APM.
