The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Administrative Assistant 3, UNLV Student Academic Success - Division of Health Sciences [R0150767]. ROLE of the POSITION The Administrative Assistant 3 (AA3) a provides administrative support to the Division of Health Sciences Advising Center. This position will manage administrative and operational functions that support student success initiatives across the three Colleges: Integrated Health Sciences, Public Health, and Nursing. This position will also maintain the schedules and calendars of the advising staff and Director. Primary responsibilities include office management duties; work with staff and student workers to ensure that all incoming calls are answered and prioritized, engage with students visiting the advising center needing student success-related support and assist with any needs they may have, manage service cases and support pools within Rebel Success Hub; corresponds about and compiles/produces data outcome reports; moderate data manipulation and analysis using spreadsheet programs; document typing and processing; travel and reimbursement arrangements; manage the operational budget for the center; purchasing and disbursement functions, and record management; complete HR-related items for staff recruitment and onboarding; as well as being a first point of contact related to student success initiatives, having knowledge of all functions within the DHS Advising Center, including problem solving.
