About The Position

Responsible for providing administrative support to the Hospital & Critical Care Clinicians Section. Section includes Hospitalists, Pulmonologists, Intensivists, and Infectious Disease. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information in a fast-paced clinical environment. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Coordinate logistics for meetings, including calendar management, space preparation, and catering orders Prepare meeting agendas and record meeting minutes Coordinate Continuing Medical Education (CME) expense submissions Assist with provider schedules Assist with new provider onboarding Coordinate provider recruitment/interview days Payroll auditor/timekeeper Assist with supply ordering Mileage tracking and submission Track and coordinate annual FIT testing for providers Other duties as assigned Performs non-patient care tasks to support CCH mission & vision. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients, their families and co-workers.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2 years or more experience in an administrative assistant, customer service, or healthcare role.

Nice To Haves

  • AAS Degree as administrative assistant or healthcare related field.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to organize workload and follow directions yet work independently.
  • Working knowledge of computer applications used for word processing and data management.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond appropriately to a changing work environment.
  • Ability to be flexible and responsive to frequent work schedule changes to include number of hours of worked per day, starting and ending times and short notice work schedule changes.
  • Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • Strong skills using Microsoft Office Programs required.
