BGE, Inc. is seeking part-time administrative support for the Construction Management Department in Central Arkansas . Company: BGE, Inc. is a nationwide engineering consulting firm with 1200+ employees across 25+ offices that provides services in civil engineering, planning, construction phase administration, and environmental services for public and private clients. We seek a self-motivated team player with demonstrated successes and strong desire for more growth and development. Location: On-site part-time – Central Arkansas

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years administrative experience, and proven ability to work with limited supervision
  • Must have excellent time management skills, and ability to coordinate with all levels of staff and handle multiple tasks
  • Strong proof reading and editing skills and grammar
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Demonstrate the ability to develop systems to record retention and organization.
  • Ability to use standard office equipment, personal computers and applicable programs, applications and systems.
  • Work may include extended periods of time viewing a computer monitor and/or operating a keyboard.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Valid and current driver’s license to include the ability to operate a motor vehicle.
  • Provide reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to a local Construction Division within a civil engineering design firm, including but not limited to coordinate new hires regarding office space, computer/phone equipment, and supplies, assist in other duties as assigned and uses greater judgement and initiative to determine the approach or action to take in non-routine situations
  • Build and maintain system for construction project records and processes related paperwork.
  • Monitors records to verify compliance with state and federal laws compliance to applicable Federal Laws.
  • Prepares correspondence, reports and supporting documents.
  • Preparing and maintaining confidential and sensitive records, files and reports
  • Adapt recordkeeping to individual client’s needs and expectations.
