About The Position

Support all administrative tasks for the Forward Repair Activity (FRA) in Korea as an Administrative Assistant. MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT As an Administrative Assistant, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the Worldwide Field Support contract for the U.S. Army. You will play a crucial role in ensuring personnel records are up to date, recording meeting minutes, generating memorandums, assisting employees with expense report submissions, and a variety of other administrative support activities.

Requirements

  • Education: High School diploma
  • Experience: BA/BS plus 2 years’ experience, AA/AS/plus 4 years’ experience, or a High School diploma and 7 years’ experience
  • Technical skills: Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat. Must be able to create and maintain spreadsheets, documents, & presentations. Must have hands on experience with shared drives.
  • Security clearance level: Secret
  • Role requirements: US passport must not expire for at least 2 years, valid US driver’s license, and an international driver’s permit (AAA)

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day office operations and seek to improve office workflow. Clarify assigned roles/tasks, track, and monitor administrative support-related actions to ensure completion.
  • Produce a variety of reports for management and government personnel.
  • Proactively manage calendar and schedule items for the team.
  • Performs multiple critical and time-sensitive tasks simultaneously.
  • Generate required country-specific work documents and track them through their approval.
  • Oversee or execute a variety of support activities and functions (e.g., maintaining conference room calendars, office supplies, and office equipment maintenance to include trouble-shooting basic problems, arranging repairs, and guiding others on equipment use)
  • Assist team members with travel authorization requests, international travel requests, and expense reports.
  • Other duties as assigned.
