About The Position

MGNY is looking for a motivated part-time administrative assistant to support a talented team of Affordable Housing Project Managers s in person at our New York City office. If you’re eager to contribute to meaningful projects and grow your skills in the affordable housing sector while supporting a dynamic office team, we’d love to hear from you!

Requirements

  • Prior office support experience highly preferred
  • Passionate about NY Real Estate
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Friendly and professional with strong communication skills
  • Reliable and able to commit to a consistent schedule
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
  • In possession of a NY State ID or Driver’s license

Responsibilities

  • Complete training in Affordable Housing Guidelines and Processes
  • Organize and manage paper applications for Affordable Housing projects in NYC
  • Route incoming calls and assist walk-ins with pending housing applications
  • Run purchasing errands and manage post office tasks
  • Occasional visits to development sites throughout the 5 boroughs
  • Maintain tracking and filing of application materials
  • Assist with other administrative duties as needed
