About The Position

The Logistics Coordinator plays a critical role in the daily success of Hoover Dam rafting operations by ensuring that people, equipment, vehicles, F&B orders, and schedules are aligned and ready for each tour. This position serves as the operational hub between guides, drivers, guest services, and management, helping tours run safely, efficiently, and on time while maintaining a high standard of guest experience.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily tour schedules, staffing assignments, F & B orders and vehicle/raft readiness
  • Ensure guides, drivers, and support staff are briefed on timelines, locations, and responsibilities
  • Monitor tour flow throughout the day and adjust plans as needed due to weather, staffing, or operational changes
  • Coordinate shuttle routes, vehicle staging, and driver assignments
  • Track raft inventory, safety equipment, lunches, water, and guest gear
  • Ensure all equipment is staged, maintained, and accounted for before and after tours
  • Act as the primary point of contact between guides, drivers, guest services, and management
  • Communicate real-time updates clearly and professionally via radio, phone, or in person
  • Support guest services with operational updates that affect guests (delays, changes, special needs)
  • Verify that safety checks, headcounts, and required documentation are completed
  • Support compliance with National Park Service requirements and company SOPs
  • Report incidents, maintenance issues, or safety concerns promptly to management
  • Anticipate logistical challenges and proactively solve problems before they impact guests
  • Step in to assist with launches, landings, guest loading, or equipment movement as needed
  • Support special events, charters, and seasonal operational changes
  • Process daily operational reporting
  • Assist Tour Operations Manager with monthly schedule forecast
  • Light Bookkeeping
  • All other duties as assigned
